Texas has been rated as one of the most business friendly states or THE most business friendly state in many surveys and articles. The tax system is a big part of why Texas has achieved this ranking. Personal income, state property or unitary taxes are not levied in Texas.

Tax Abatements & Incentives
All qualifying businesses will be considered for property tax abatements. TEDCO will assist the prospective business in the application process with all taxing entities. Many projects are now enjoying and abated tax structure from the various taxing districts now. The range and amount of abatement usually depend on the number of jobs created and the amount of investments.
TEDCO can also assist qualifying businesses in the application for a low-interest loan from the Revolving Loan Fund.

Tulia - "Your Transportation Headquarters"
The orange routes on this highway map are interstate highways. Tulia provides easy access to the section of I-40 linking Albuquerque and Oklahoma City. The blue routes are four lane highways. Tulia provides access to the section of I-20 that links Dallas and El Paso. Tulia also provides good access to US 287 which is the most direct route between Dallas and Denver. Tulia is about 250 miles from the recreational opportunities in Santa Fe, Ruidoso and Angle Fire, NM.
