About us
The Tulia Economic Development Corporation was incorporated in September 2008 following the successful passage of a .5%
economic Development Tax (4-b) in May 2008. TEDCO's mission is expanding the Tulia Economy by
promoting development of industry that can benefit from Tulia's strategic advantage of being at the center of the Texas panhandle rail and highway
transportation systems. Tulia is an ideal prospective wind energy support center. Tulia is also a strategic agribusiness, manufacturing and distribution center because of its
position halfway between Lubbock and Amarillo. Tulia is on I-27 just 52 miles south of I-40.
